Mockingbird Team Tel-U won 3rd position at IPB Business Festival

BANDUNG, TEL-U – SEARCH SME Telkom University (Tel-U) passed top 20 IPB Business Festival 2015. They are Mockingbird team, Aragon team and Volunteers team. And Mockingbird successfully managed to occupy the third position in the competition. After qualified as top 20 semi-finals, they routinely trained the team to use JA Titan every night until dawn.
“SEARCH Team Telkom University joined the Business Simulation Competition category. Competition business simulation using software JA Titan is online software for business simulation developed by Junior Achievement USA, “said one member team of Mockingbird, Syahrul Rashid, Friday (2/10). Students MBTI 2012 was added, JA Titan is a simulation interactive business program which can be used actively to apply understanding of the basic principles of economics, economic decision making and management.
“In using this software, we set ourselves as a CEO in the company which managed virtually. The output is we can analyze information and data, critical thinking, decisive in making decisions, both in the calculation of mathematical, planning, and teamwork, “said Made Kevin Bratawisnu, students MBTI 2014 who also team member of Mockingbird.
To win the title, Tel-U being prepared best delegates thoroughly. Kevin aware of the challenges faced in this competition is a competition that is not less tough and has a high-flying hours in the competition business simulation national and international scale.
IPB Business Festival this year is the third times. IBF held annually by Century IPB held several competition categories that was Business Simulation Competition, Marketing Debate, Business Model Canvas, and a Business Idea. The series of competitions take place on 25 to 26 September 2015. In addition to Kevin and Syahrul Mockingbird team, another delegation of SMEs Search Tel-U that is Fadly Aprianto (MBTI 2012) and Farid Wira D (Industrial Engineering 2014) in the Aragon team, as well as Oki Ryanda Azhari (MBTI 2012) and Akhmad Rayaldy (MBTI 2012) in the Volunteers team. – (Purel / risca)
