BANDUNG, TEL-U – Bandung Techno Park (BTP) build two new buildings. According to the Director of BTP, Ir. Jangkung Raharjo, M.T, the two buildings intended for electronics and telematics innovation center. Jangkung hope with innovation center of electronics and telematics can support the accelerated growth of innovations product that can be utilized by people.
“As the original purpose of BTP to produce the continuous innovation and delivery of technology-based start-up company based on technology, and the commercialization of research results. Two of the building was built with the help from ministries of industry, through the Directorate General of Metal, Telematics and Electronics, “Jangkung said in his speech at the Cornerstone Laying in Electronics and Telematics Innovation Center Buildings in Bandung Region Technoplex, Monday (3/8).
Cornerstone laying done by the Director General of Metal Telematics and Electronics I Gusti Putu Suryawirawan, Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Mochammad Ashari, M. Eng., Ph.D., and Chairman of Telkom Foundation Ir. Dwi S. Purnomo, MM.
Gusti Putu hope the construction of innovation centers can make a real contribution to the economic development of the region.
“The market is growing so fast ICT products. We must also become a player in developing the technology. When creating a product we must be ready to head to head with foreign products, “said Gusti Putu. He added that the convergence of ICT opportunities are very wide. Future together could be made road map of areas of the business and what jobs will be created regulations.
“Hopefully we can realize the dream together, realizing that this area became an icon for the ICT industry nationally and regionally,” Gusti Putu lid. (Purel / risca)
