BANDUNG, TEL-U – After a series of administration tests and visitation, S1 Studies Program of Electrical Engineering School of Electrical Engineering Telkom University (FTE TE Prodi Tel-U) finally managed to achieve A accreditation . The accreditation is based on a decree of the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (SK BAN-PT) No. 2249 / SK / BAN-PT / Akred / S / X / 2016.
According to Sigit Yuwono, ST., M.Sc., PhD, Chairman of Electrical Engineering Program, earlier on August 1, 2016 the campus underwent the visitation BAN-PT attended two assessors namely Prof Dr Ir Saso Hadi Pramono, DEA, and Dr Ir Andani, MT. After that at the end of last October, the results of the accreditation department of TE eventually been issued by BAN PT “Now just waiting for the certificate,” said Sigit, Friday (4/11).
Sigit explained, Prodi TE is able to achieve accreditation as supported by Tel-U . For example the quality of the lecturers were very supportive and great research achievements. Similarly, the facilities provided is helping students. “Of all the aspects of the assessment we got a score of 363 and the research aspects that contribute most points in this accreditation,” he said.
Sigit hope Accreditation can be well demonstrated by Prodi to improve the quality of the existing well in the study, the ratio of lecturers and TPA (Academic Support Personnel) as well as creating a good quality of student work. “I hope that we have a capable accountable and we are grateful to be able to reach a hopefully this can continue to improve the quality,” he said.
