BANDUNG, TEL-U – Lecturer of Business Administration School of Communication and Business (FKB) Tel-U, Dr. Hendrati Dwi Mulyaningsih, S.E., M.M, accomplished a Doctorate degree field of Science Management – Entrepreneurship at Bandung Institute of Technology, Saturday (07/01/2017). Hendrati accomplished her doctorate with a dissertation entitled “Knowledge-Based Social Innovation Process Within Toward Social Enterprise Social Value Creation”.
Hendrati examines the phenomenon of social enterprise in Indonesia which she interesting to study, “When I was studying social entrepreneurship in Indonesia, I have found that the phenomenon exists but science has not developed. It was an opportunity for me and a research gap that I can fill, “she said.
According to her, social enterprise needs to run a social innovation on the basis of external information to be able to create the right program goals and added value to society. “External knowledge from the community. If we make the program do not match what people want do not expect to make a value. Thus appropriate target program should involve the community from the beginning. External knowledge of the community is important for the next process, “she said.
Hendrati expected that her research can inspire other researchers, especially researchers will research more about social entrepreneurship in Indonesia. From the practical side, I expect this will benefit the community. For what we soar if it can not be useful for others “, he said. (PR / ADN)
