BANDUNG, Telkom University – PT Huawei Tech Investment (Huawei Indonesia) in cooperation with Telkom University held Huawei – Tel U Tech Day which took place at Gedung Selaru, School of Applied Sciences Telkom University, Thursday (31/8).
As part of Huawei SmartGen’s roadshow program at leading campuses in Indonesia, the SmartGen program is an initiative of Huawei to develop the talent of young Indonesian talent in the field of ICT. Through cooperation with 7 universities in Indonesia which was implemented in March 2017 where the signing of the MoU was witnessed by the Ministry of Communications and Informatics (Kemenkominfo), Ministry of Research and Technology Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti).
With the theme of “Technology and Big Data Analytic for Social Innovation”, this event is filled by a number of experts, both from Huawei, Telkom University and from industry players regarding the theme raised, among others:

Big Data for social innovation by Andry Alamsyah, Lecturer and Researcher Telkom University.
Vice Rector III for Cooperation AMA Suyanto said it is an honor for Huawei to be present at Telkom University campus through Tech Day event with industry experts from technology, as part of SmartGen program which is Huawei’s commitment to enrich knowledge and experience in ICT field for Indonesian young generation especially Telkom students University.
“We believe that an advanced ICT infrastructure and strong human resources are critical factors supporting long-term economic development and improving Indonesia’s prosperity standards and competitive advantage” he said.
Huawei Indonesia Human Resource Director Dani K. Ristandi said that Techday Fifth this year is present at Telkom University, where Telkom University alumni is the largest in Huawei Indonesia, and Huawei’s biggest contributor is Telkom University alumni.
