BANDUNG, TEL-U – Approximate 130 researchers from 14 countries contributed to the joint conference between the IEEE International Conference on Control, Electronics, Renewable Energy, and Communication (ICCEREC) with IEEE Asia Pacific Conference on Wireless on Mobile (APWiMob).
International scientific activities in Asia-Pacific was held at the Royal Panghegar Hotel, Bandung, Tuesday-Wednesday (13 – 14/9) with Telkom University School of Electrical Engineering (FTE Tel-U) as administrators.
Also present were three main speakers and two other speakers at the session from TU Darsmtadt tutorial Germany, Niigata University, Cisco Systems Inc. USA, Solvina International Sweden and from FTE Tel-U represented by Sigit P Wigati Jarot, Ph.D.
As a manifestation of the vision of information and communication technologies development, the conference produced 138 paper, with 80 paper of which have passed the review and selection.
Telkom University Rector, Prof. Ir Mochamad Ashari, M.Eng, PhD, expected that the conference would become a place to share experiences, research results, ideas, and policies on research areas of wireless and mobile communication devices which would be very useful primary to deals with the ongoing fourth industrial revolution.
In the opening ceremony of the conference, there was also see the launching of IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) Indonesia Chapter which was originally merge with IEEE Communications Society Indonesia Chapter. Elected chairman of IEEE SPS is Dr-.Ing. Fiky Y. Suratman who is also Chairman of the Postgraduate Program Electrical Engineering-Telecommunications Tel-U. (Purel / RSD)
