Bandung, Telkom University – Telkom University demonstrates its commitment to the development of knowledge by building a knowledge center named “Open Library”. This knowledge center is supported by digital information technology and modern facilities, which cater not only for the citizens of Telkom University, but also public.

This was revealed in The Grand Launching of Telkom University Open Library, in the Hall Manterawu Telkom University Jln. Telecommunications No. 1 Bandung on Wednesday (02.22.16). Purnomo, as well as Telkom University Rector Prof. Ir. Moch. Ashari, M.Eng., Ph.D.

Telkom University Open Library established on an area of 3,200 m2 with a capacity of 1,000 people, which is complemented by digital catalog facilities, mini theaters, 14 discussion rooms, wifi access, library cafe, multimedia room, digital collection access, six reading area, and prayer room. The entire access can be accessed by authorized users Open Library for six days a week, free of charge. To facilitate the operation, Open Library is supported by an integrated information system that can process and manage a wide range of knowledge collections and services Open Library.

Telkom University Rector Prof. Ir. Moch. Ashari, M.Eng., Ph.D. said the library is the heart of an educational institution. Therefore, Telkom University is committed to strengthen and enhance it as a knowledge center in Telkom University.
