BANDUNG, TEL-U – Students from Faculty of Communication and Business Telkom University (FKB Tel-U) handed their knowledge to elementary school children. The activities referred to FKB Teaching was held at SDN 03 Cibodas, Lembang District, West Bandung regency.
FKB Teaching is part of the Community Service Action, held in Suntenjaya Village, Lembang District, West Bandung regency. This activity was divided into two sessions, the first on September 25, 2015 and the second on 30 October 2015 to 1 November 2015.
On this event, the organizers and the participants fully involved and provided teaching materials for students in elementary school. After FKB Teaching activities, its continued to visit the SME Plastic Recycle Sadulur Satujuan.
This activity aimed to show the production process from collected plastic waste materials to the recycle process which turn the waste into valuable thing. The next activity wasFKB Night Fun Social Action.
This event took place on Saturday (31/10), which is filled with a variety of performances and movie watching “Sukarno” film. FKB Action Care closed on Sunday (1/11) with some activities, SME bazaar and flea market secondhand clothes.
In the closing ceremony, also attended by Deputy Dean Faculty of Communication and Business 2, Ir. Syarifuddin, MM. Syarifuddin ordered that the younger generation do not just want to get hung up on the sophistication internet life, but also must foster social awareness which can be obtained as in the activities of the Action Care Village.
