Telkom University Student Research Presented at the University of Cambridge, UK

Bandung, Telkom University – Being a world-class university is the vision of Telkom University. Realizing the vision, the campus which is annually absorb up to 6,000 students continue to score achievements at the international level. One of them was a research conducted by two students of Physical Engineering, Syammary Naufal and Zsi Zsi Meydwika Andwitri, accompanied by Engineering Physics Lecturer, Dr. Abrar, M.Si also a researcher from the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). The results of their research will be presented at the University of Cambridge, UK.

Research results are summarized in a paper which is then submitted to ICITM 2017 (International Conferences on Industrial Technology and Management 2017), followed by more than 23 countries including Taiwan, Malaysia, China, Oman, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Norway, Mexico , Germany, Britain, Hong Kong, Indonesia, etc.), of 159 papers were submitted, 103 paper are included the research conducted by students of Telkom University.

Technically, the conducted research created a micro-sized devices 25mmx 25mm which generates electric power approximate 500 millivolts to 1000 mV, with an energy source derived from vibration (Hertz), or well known as EVEH (Electro Dynamics Energy Harvesting).

In ICITM activity 2017, the qualifiers will converge at the University of Cambridge, and present theresearch to the entire research team (Students Ph.D, Master Student, Lecturer, Researcher) as well as the Professor. The selected research will be published by IEEE indexed by Scopus, Ei Compendex.
