BANDUNG, TEL-U – Rector of Telkom University (Tel-U), Prof. Ir Mochamad Ashari, M Eng, PhD said that the total amount of Telkom University scholarship was constantly increasing, both in the amount of funding and the students’ number targets. In the academic year 2015/2016, the nominal of scholarship has reached 10.650 billion Rupiah which awarded to 1,622 students. The nominal figure represents a growth of 110% from 5.079 billion Rupiah and 48% growth target of students as many as 1,097 students on previous academic year.
“A deep gratitude for leaders of partner institutions which has provided scholarships for Telkom University students. We wish that those contributions led to merit the glory and blessing for the organization or company, “said Rector.
This was conveyed by the Rector in front of hundreds graduands and their parents at the Senate Open Session Graduation Period II – Academic Year 2015/2016 which held at Telkom University Convention Hall, Saturday, April 2, 2016. The graduand are graduates of Master, Bachelor and Dipoma from seven faculties.
On that occasion, Rector also had a chance to share information to the graduands and their parents, among other achievements of the institution in the last four months, or since the last graduation on November 2015, as well as the achievements of students and lecturers. (Purel / raf)
