17 Countries’ Researchers Enlivened ICoICT 2016

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Approximate 244 researchers from 17 countries participated in The 4th International Conference on Information and Communication Technology (ICoICT 2016) held in Hotel Papandayan Bandung lasted on Wednesday (25/5) until Friday (27/5). “From 244 submitted papers, selected 105 papers and 95 of them were presented during the next two days,” said Chairman of the Committee ICoICT 2016, Rusmawati Yanti, PhD.

According to Yanti, ICoICT 2016 took theme “Digital Community in Big Data Era” and many participants coming from diverse disciplines. “This can been from the received papers that more variable than the previous years,” he said.

On the first day, ICoICT was opened officially by Rector of Tel-U, Prof. Ir Mochamad Ashari, MEng, PhD, and Dean from School of Informatics, Dr Maman Abdurohman ST, MT. Afterwards, participants listened to the main material of Keynote Speaker Suzy Moat, PhD with the theme of “Sensing and Predicting Human Behavior with the Internet Data” and continued with the presentation of Prof Roberto Montemanni with “ICT for Healthcare: Challenges and Solutions”.
