Bandung, Telkom University – Every year, Telkom University Annualy organize the Appreciation Night Performance to celebrate the student’s achievement both national and international level. On Wednesday night (22/3), this 2016/2017 event held in Sebatik building. This event aimed to maintain the students’ spirit in achieving further achievements both academic and non-academic.
This was disclosed by Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Research, Dr. M. Yahya Arwiyah SH., MH. on his speech infront of the students. “I say thank you for the hard work and persistence fellow gentlemen, so as to carve achievement. Make this appreciation for colleagues to continue to excel and make proud our beloved campus,Telkom University “he said.
Yahya also presented data regarding student achievement in 2016, Telkom University join and won the championship no less than 94 competitions among seven regional, 68 national and 19 international. While the merit scholarship recipients period of 2016, there were 330 students with a total scholarship of Rp815.256.493.
The event which was also attended by all SMEs registered in Telkom University was also became the launch of online counseling application. According to Yahya, this apps is integrate with i-gracias and can facilitate the students’ directorate to manage counseling for students.
“The aim of this application is to facilitated in terms of online counseling, as well as for the students’ directorate can easily manage counseling and student data collection,” said Yahya.
After the awards, Telkom University Rector Prof. Mochamad Ashari, Ph.D gave full appreciation to all students. He expected that there are other achievements in the future and working on greater competition again. “I wish every student in Telkom University has the soul of a good competition, do not feel satisfied and continued to excel the capability.” Lid Ashari.
