Commemorating Kartini Day, Tel-U Employee Dressed with Traditional Clothes

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Something different with employee’s appearance, both faculty and Academic Support Personnel of Telkom University (Tel-U), on Thursday (21/4). Yes, some of them dressed in traditional clothing from various regions in the archipelago. Surely this was related to the annual celebration of Kartini Day on April 21.

A number of female employees looked cheerful with kebaya. And the man also looked awesome with the clothes and attributes reflected some ethnic groups such as Sunda, Java, Sumatra, and Bali. An ethnic headband also complete this special day. Then … “Click!” A few seconds later they’ve graced the appearance of social media.

A special appearance was not only happened on Tel-U campus. In all spheres of education under the Telkom Foundation, employees are encouraged to wear the traditional clothes of archipelago.

“We appeal to the entire staff of Telkom Foundation to wear traditional clothes on Thursday, 21 April 2016,” stated the Human Capital of Telkom Foundation. (Purel / raf)
