Farewell Party For Dormitory Resident Came Off As Entertaining

BANDUNG, TEL – U – More than a thousand students of Telkom University Dormitory batch 2013 were attended the Farewell Party 2014 held at Telkom University Convention Hall on Friday (6/6).
The event was organized by the Telkom University Career Development Center (CDC) at the end of the habitation period of Telkom University dormitory for the student of academic year of 2013/2014.
In cooperation with Tuvendo, Farewell Party was filled by the performance of a beatbox and Percussion by Tel-U students. The participants were also treated by the performances from Saung Angklung Udjo and musical performances of the Makaya band that added to the thrill of this event.
“This is the culmination of CDC programs for new students T-U. Having previously started with Welcome Party in 2013, the development of psychology, planting nationalism and patriotism, to outbound for the dormitory residents,” said the Assistant Softskill Development Manager CDC Telkom University, Sri Utami. Also attending the event was the Chairman of Telkom Foundation, Johni Girsang, M.Sc., Vice Rector IV of Research, Community Service and Student Affairs, Dr.. M. Yahya. Arwiyah, MH, and the Head of CDC Tel-U, Henry Anwar.
In his speech, Johni Girsang said that the process of maturation is a sure thing that occurs and must be passed by everyone, especially in the Telkom Foundation. “You are a diamond in the bottom of the ocean. You will be experience the natural maturing process here and eventually you will become a valuable diamond,” he said. In line with Johni Girsang, M. Yahya Arwiyah also mentions that the new student T-U not to lose its character. “What did you get in dormitories should be continued.
Tonight is the marker that the process you have already been through in a dorm would be beneficial for the future development of yourselves,” said Yahya. The student whom will leave this dormitory claimed to gain valuable experiences during their stay in the dorm. “We got a lot of new friends, can surf the internet for free, it was all cool and fun,” said Tyonk, Indah, Hani, and Nia, the students of Information Management and Marketing Management batch 2013.
