FIK Tel-U Held the Exhibition with Bandung Artists and Teachers

BANDUNG, TEL-U – School of Creative Industries Telkom University (FIK Tel-U) held Exhibition with Bandung Artist and Teacher. The exhibition, which was held at the Gallery Idealoka Telkom University Creative Center (TUCC) from 7-10 November 2016.

The participants on this exhibition are the ones who have a dual role, both as an artist as well as a teacher. Exhibition curator, Kiki Rizki Soetisna said the exhibition was held to clarify the position that the artist who is also a teacher has a dual role.

The dual role led to the artists and teacher in this exhibition “live” in two different environments, that is art arena and the campus environment.

“Life on campus is actually conditioned the artists and educators to be transformed variety of shared experiences through art into knowledge and also create opportunities to enrich the,” said Kiki.

In this exhibition, works of art displayed as many as 30 pieces of the creations from 24 artists. The artists was divided into two approached groups. Tisna Sanjaya, Setiawan Sabana, Mufti Priyanka, Cecelia Muhammad Taufik, Dadan Setiawan, Fauzi Andhika, Abdul Hakim, Dwija P. Patra Aditia, Aldi and Nugroho S Lawrence are artist who works with the advanced boost intuition but in the end lead to the creation or critical reflection on the phenomenon, studied as a material of knowledge.

While the artists such as Radi Arwinda, Budi Adi Nugroho, Banung Grahita, Ismet Zaenal Effendi, Willy Hima, Dadang Sudrajat, Patriot believer, Erwin Windu Institution, Jabbar Muhammad, Annuitera, Isa Perkasa and Erika Ernawan are the one who always precedes the creative process with a series of activities data collection and study of the phenomenon which was then poured into theoretical concepts and aesthetic masterpiece.

Dean of the School of Creative Industries, Dr. Agus Achmad Suhendra said, this exhibition coming into the series of Bandung Creative Movement held on November 2016. In addition, the exhibition is to introduce the new Idealoka Gallery to the public.
