BANDUNG, TEL-U – Again, Telkom University Students achieved the international aaward. Reza Saputra Gani (FEB-MBTI-2011), Muhammad Bambang M (FEB-ICT Business-2014), and Awandha Primary (FEB-ICT Business-2014) which is joined I Love Bandung team won second-runner up in CIMB ASEAN Stock Challenge 2015.
In this event, I Love Bandung Team was chosen to represent Indonesia in the Grand Final Champion after reaching 1 position in CIMB ASEAN Indonesia Stock Challenge 2015. The Grand Final was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Monday (18/1), I Love Bandung team presented the Paper Strategy with other representatives from Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, and Thailand.
According to Reza, The Paper Strategy which is presented at the stage similar with trading stocks in the previous round. “Our Strategy Paper contains the strategy which is adopted during trading shares for 15 days with the highest capital gain profit in Indonesia,” he said.
That reason made I Love Bandung team won second-runner up position. According to Reza, the strategy and the analysis used by I Love Bandung team for stock trading was different from the other.
“We focused on technical analysis while stock trading compared with fundamental analysis, as well as the other teams use the data mining,” he said.
Meanwhile, the grand champion of CIMB ASEAN Challenge 2015 won by the Abnormals from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), first runner-up won by Flexie team from Zaman University (Cambodia), third runner-up won by Beacons team from UCSI University (Malaysia) and fourth runner-up won by JJR team from Assumption University (Thailand).
The team won fifth position after managed to put 2,444 teams from 188 universities spread in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia. (purel / EAD)
