Tel-U Choir Bring Back Second Position

BANDUNG, TEL-U -Telkom University (Tel-U) Choir incised achievement again. At this time, Tel-U Choir won 2nd Place at Choir Competition Rayon V private university in the city and district of Bandung, West Bandung and Cimahi held by Coordinator of Private Universities (Kopertis) IV.
“Thank God we can maintain the achievements since last year we also won 2nd Place in Rayon V and the opportunity to represent Rayon V at the level of West Java. Hope we can give you the best performance at the level of West Java later, please support us, “said Ilham, Team Coordinator.
Telkom University Choir performed two songs, one anthem, entitled Hymn of Independence (by Ibu Sud) which is arranged by Henk te Strake and Hymn of University which arranged nicely.
At this event, Tel-U were given the opportunity to host the competition in Rayon V. It took place in the Hall of Sebatik Building, 5th Floor, Wednesday (30/9) followed by 11 participants. In addition Tel-U, participants of the National Institute of Technology (ITENAS), STIE & STMIK Indonesia Mandiri, STIE Inaba, Polytechnic Practitioner, University Widiyatama, Bandung Islamic University (UNISBA), Maranatha Christian University, University General Ahmad Yani (UNJANI), Poltekes Air Force and STIK Immanuel. But the name of the latter withdrew from the race.
The Judges are composed of Deddy Darmawan, Indra Ridwan, Ph.D., and Ida Bagus Gede. Ida Bagus assess, the overall appearance of the participants have been nice. “However, it should be improved some characters in the next competition, each participant must pay more attention to dynamics and articulation,” he said.
The final results is first place for Maranatha Christian University, 2nd Place went to Telkom University and the 3rd Place belong to National Institute of Technology (ITENAS). Of the three winners, will be represent Rayon V to the level of West Java, only 1st and 2nd will compete against winners from other rayon. (purel / izal)
