BANDUNG, TEL-U – After undergoing Initial Audit in June and Main Audit for two days (Monday and Tuesday, 21-22 / 9), finally Telkom University (Tel-U) declared eligible to receive the certificate of ISO 9001: 2008.
“From the results of the audit that has been done during these two days, we recommend Telkom University to obtain ISO 9001: 2008 with the minor findings and OFI and observations that must be completed within 90 days,” said Oloan Bukhari, leader of auditor’s team from PT. Bureau Veritas Indonesia, Tuesday (22/9).
According to Bonardo Sianturi, team members, some departments have implemented a document control but there are still some parts must be addressed. “For example, there are several documents that have not been numbering yet,” he said.
Vice Rector Dr. Ir Heroe Wijanto, MT., Welcomed the results of this audit. “Thank God for these two days we have made great strides to implement a quality tradition. With certified, our institutions will move forward, “he said.
According to him, the audit process is like someone who was drinking bitter herbal medicine or exercise. “If we want healthy it must be willing to exercise. Because even though the cape, exercise can make the body healthier, “he said.
Vice Rector also hope with this achievement, all academicians eager increasingly to improve the quality of the institution. “Do not be recede or retreat. Let us increase stamina with cheerfulness and sincerity, “he said.
