Bandung, Telkom University - Along with the current technological developments, especially the dissemination of information in social media, West Java Regional Police Officer (Polda Jabar) expect to establish cooperation with academics to create innovations in the world of ICT.
This was conveyed by the Chief of Police Region (Kapolda) West Java Irjen Pol. Drs. H. Anton Charliyan, M.P.K.N., in the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which took place in West Java Regional Police Headquarters (Mapolda) on Thursday (8/6).
"The number of hoax news is often spread in social media, we ask Telkom University to help police to create innovations in order to reduce the spread of misinformation" he said.
Mou which was signed directly by the Vice Rector (warek) IV, Student Affairs and Community Service. M Yahya Arwiyah, SH, MH and West Java Police Chief Irjen Pol. Drs. H. Anton Charliyan, M.P.K.N., contains the implementation of trindharma university, backlink website and security coaching.
Warek IV said, hopefully this cooperation can be sustainable, and it is expected that the academic community of Telkom University who come to Polda is not karen in call or report but to cooperate.
"Hopefully we will jointly develop this cooperation so that it can be useful for the community especially in the field of community service" he said.
In this event also held signing of MoU between Polda Jabar with Institute of Government of Interior (IPDN) conducted by Governor of IPDN Prof. Dr. Drs. Ermaya Suradinata, SH, MH, MS.
