BANDUNG, TEL-U – Telkom University inaugurates 779 graduands at the Senate Open Session at Graduation Period II – Academic Year 2015/2016 which held in Telkom University Convention Hall, Saturday (2/4). The graduand are graduates of Master, Bachelor and Dipoma from seven faculties.
After formally sworn in, they will join the big family of Telkom University (Tel-U) alumni which is today the number has reached 32 772 members. Besides Indonesia, Tel-U alumni also diasporic across 26 countries, such as the United States, Australia, Belgium, Brunei Darussalam, China, Taiwan, Japan, Germany, South Korea, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, France, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Singapore, Timor Leste, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Nepal, Uzbekhistan, Tajikistan, and Vietnam.
Until the end of graduate registration period on March 11, 2016, no less than 89 people (11.5%) the graduand on this period stated that already employed and 690 people (88.5%) of graduand ready to seek business opportunities and professions.
Tel-U Rector, Prof. Ir Mochamad Ashari, M Eng, PhD advised that graduand utilize their hard skill and soft skills which have learned on Tel-U campus for a better of nation.
“Your success today is not the end of a trip, but it is a new step in treading the challenging working world. If you utilize the hard skill and soft skill, accompanied by hard work and prayer, we believe that success can be achieved soon. Use the science for society, wherever you are. Telkom University Alumni should be the main driving wheel for every change to the advancement nation, ” he stated. (Purel / raf)
