Bandung, Telkom University – Telkom University students won the competition Saeed Annual National Competition (ASNC) 2017 organized by the State Islamic University (UIN), Bandung on Monday (16/4). The student who won that champion are part of English Student Society (SES), the SMEs that have many divisions such as debate, speech, scrabble, newscasting, story telling in English.
Two teams of students won a competition for the category Debate Competition is Mely Agatha (Communication Studies), I Gusti Ngurah Rama Iswara (Multimedia System), and Kusumastuti Cahya Ningrum (Computer Science), while Newscast Competition is won by Ridho Fadhil Hafizh (Communication Studies) and M Valian Masdani (Telecommunications Engineering).
Telkom University student is able to compete and be the most superior of the other participants from various universities such as UNSIKA, UMN Jakarta, STKIP, ubuntu, ITENAS, etc. The competition has become a national level for SMEs SES show to demonstrate its ability to perform.
In an interview, Melly as a team representative said that any student who has an interest in the English language can join SES to expand the abilities. “I hope that students who are interested and have the ability in the English language, can channel their talent to the SES or to the Faculty / HIMA / BEM in each department. Always optimistic at every opportunity, especially in competitions,” said Mely.
