Zeyna Ayudhia Ramadhani Achieved 2nd Position at Gemasi’s English Competition

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Product Design Student class of 2013, Zeyna Ayudhia Ramadhani, succeeded to win 2nd position at Story Telling Competition, Gemasi’s English Competition in Padjadjaran University (Unpad). Competition on the theme “Language Change The World” organized by UNPAD Students Centre, English Literature from the date of 27 September to 4 October 2015.

In the competition, Zeyna told a thriller story titled “What Does This Mean”. The story told about a girl named Jessica. She was 7 years old who killed himself because his parents misunderstood the sense of the word. “In this competition it was just me who told the horror genre,” said Zeyna.

According to Zeyna, the challenge is she had to change the character and display the proper attitude of a small child 7 years old. Deepening this character needed to make the audience believe that the character of a real little boy. “So that the audience can go in and understand the story that I told about,” he said.

Zeyna attainment cannot be separated from the help of friends who are members of the SME Student English Society (SES) Telkom University. Zeyna explained, existing or absence of competition, the team division of Story Telling SES Tel-U always practice every week. “Approaching the competition schedule, we practiced with performing in front of his own friends to know whether our way of telling the story is good or not,” she said.
