Six Students of Darmasiswa Program For Good to Their Country

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Dean from School of Creative Industries Telkom University (FIK Tel-U), Dr. Ir. Agus Achmad Suhendra, MT officially release 6 Darmasiswa program participants who studied in Kriya textiles and Mode FIK. The ceremony event was held in the Dean’s conference room School of Creative Industries, Wednesday (25/5).

The sixth participant was Susan Mapfumo from Zimbabwe, Nathalie Joelle Ferri from the United States, Anna Hudexz from Hungary, Chiaru Formichetti from Italy, Alicia Montoya from Venezuela, and Ginette Dayana De Camara Pimenta from Venezuela.

Darmasiswa program was organized by Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia and entrusted to Tel-U to implement the program. Sixth participants followed the program for one year starting in May 2015 and ended in May 2016.

Agus said, they took the program as well as general students such as attended the lectures, participated in workshops and seminars, and also joined the competition when having a chance. “One of the participants of Darmasiswa program receive the achievements, namely Alicia Montoya who won 2nd place in the competition entitled “Jabar Ngagaya” on the last 2015,” he said.
