JAKARTA, TEL-U – Regarding to increase the value of Pulogadung industrial area in East Jakarta, Telkom University (Tel-U) agreed to cooperate with PT. Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP). Cooperation approved by signing of the MoU between the two sides in PT JIEP, Monday (27/6).
The scope of this cooperation include the development of Learning & Creative Center, co-operation and distribution of Tel-U graduand. “We are ready to support JIEP to build a creative industry,” said Rector of Tel-U Prof Ir Ashari Mochamad MEng, PhD.
The signing of this MoU also a moment with the passing of cooperation with five BUMN enterprises to improve the value of industrial estates in Pulogadung, to be more independent and having international standard. Fifth BUMN are PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (JIEP), PT Telkom (Persero) Tbk, PT PP (Persero) Tbk, PT Nindya Karya (Persero) and PT Pelindo II (Persero) included in dalamya PT Multi Terminal Indonesia, which a subsidiary of PT Pelindo II.
“This synergy helps our efforts to realize the transformation targets in Pulogadung industrial area, into a world class infrastructure – based regional industries company,” said President Director of PT JIEP Rahmadi Nugroho on Monday.
Rahmadi explained that synergy with Telkom University will transform Pulogadung region industries into The Centre for National Creative Industry. “So the existence of Telkom University will become a reliable partner in pioneering the realization plan,” he said as released by ANTARA yesterday.
