Tel-U Encourage Students Actively Participate in SMK Robotics Competition

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Diploma Study Program of Telecommunication Engineering Telkom University invited teachers and students to actively participated in SMK robotics competition. This invitation expressed in Instructional Media Development Training For Learning Intelligent Robotic Microcontroller For Teachers And Students International work SMK held in laboratories ground floor of Selaru Building, Saturday (9/5).

“The training intended for vocational students could compete in a robotics competition at the level of vocational itself”, said Andi Dwi Nurmantis, D3 Telecommunication Engineering professor who became one of the presenters.

This training was an implementation of Tri Dharma of higher education that aims to develop teachers’ instructional media and grow an outstanding potential of students. Also introduced that robot is one interesting thing, especially in today’s technological age.

From the results of survey, the current vocational curriculum using curriculum 2013 in which the curriculum is more directed of applied learning. “They have microcontroller subject, but they learned the conventional one, so here we are trying to help teachers so that the subjects can be applied through one of these intelligent robots”, said Chief Executive Events, Tri Nopiani Damayanti.

Robotic training was attended by teachers and students of SMK International work. Also present Unang Sunarya, Yuli Sun, and Andi Dwi Nurmantris as lecturer D3 Telecommunication Engineering as well as a speaker at the event. (Purel / Nisa)
