BANDUNG, TEL-U – Telkom Professional Certification Centre (TPCC) Telkom University (Tel-U) graduated 108 graduands, Saturday (12/9). They consisted of 16 graduands of Application Development Professional (ADP) program, 24 people graduated from the program Web Development Professional (WDP), 14 graduand of Graphic Design Professional (GDP) program, 24 people graduated Network Administration Professional (NAP), 26 people graduated from Creative Multimedia Professional (CMP), and 4 graduands IT Accounting Professional (IAP).
“The graduands number of CCDP Telkom PDC Program since its foundation in 2008 until 2014, has attracted some 1180 people from Telkom PDC Professionals and Partners Center. Of the 1180 people who had graduated, the percentage of graduates who have worked for about 57 per cent, 11 per cent continue their studies, entrepreneurship 1 percent, and the rest still do logging around 31 percent, “said Director of PCC Syahrudin Podding Telkom, Ir., MM.
Recently, as many as 12 thousand workers from China have received permission to stay for six months in Indonesia. In that time span, they will work on the project Indonesian government’s agreement with China. Syahrudin regard, it is becoming a very big challenge for Indonesian workers.
“Once the projects are completed, the workforce Indonesia was supposed to resume next matter. For that Telkom PCC through the CCDP program should be able to educate the nation’s children in order to have real competence in the field of Information Technology, Design & Multimedia, Web Development and Computer Networks, “said Syarudin. To all graduand, he urged that TPCC must continue to create innovative work so that we can bounce into a great nation.
“We should be proud to use domestic products. Not a nation that can only consume the products of other countries. But being the nation’s children who create products and work that can be marketed in the country and abroad. We must love Indonesian language and we must use Indonesian products, “said Syahruddin.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Telkom Foundation Ir. Dwi S. Purnomo, MM hope that the graduates are ready to compete both at home and abroad. “Creating educational institutions and produce graduates who excel in character and have high competence is our commitment. Graduates of competition should mempu penetrate at national and international level, “he said.
Graduation procession took place at the Indigo Theater Telkom Corporate University Gegerkalong Bandung. On the show also done signing Telkom PCC with several companies including PT.
