One of the commitments of universities is its involvement in building society, both economically, educationally and other social conditions. Realizing such a society, Telkom University and Polda Jabar synergize on three main field, community service, education and character development.
The signing was done on Monday (30/10/2017), at Telkom University. Head of community service of Polda Jabar, Sudrajat said the police have the responsibility to create a safe, orderly and prosperous society.
“People’s welfare is not just about economy, but also security, adequate education, and an orderly life,” he said.
Sudrajat also alludes to the rampant crime in the community, especially about the dangers of drugs, “in addition to drug eradication, we are also obliged to provide an understanding of the dangers of drugs, the people desperately need such knowledge, including legal literacy” he continued.
Meanwhile, Vice Rector for Cooperation and Research of Telkom University Dr. Rina Pudji Astuti welcomed the efforts of this partnership, “We are pleased to partner with the police, especially for community service activities, which is our duty all to restore the utilization of universities for the wider community” she concluded.
