BANDUNG, TEL-U – Lecturer from Industrial Engineering, School of Industrial Engineering (FRI) Tel-U, Atya Nur Aisha, ST., MT received achievement at international level. He won the Best Track Papers Award at the event of The Sixth International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Tuesday-Thursday, 8-10 March 2016.
The conference organized by IEOM Society which is an International level conferences attended by various academicians, students and professional practitioners, as there are a series of activities such as workshops and scientific poster competition.
On this event, Atya, chose “social media marketing – based for SMEs” as a topic, especially Facebook. In the process, Atya enggaged FRI Lecturer in the Research Groups (KK), Aulia Fashanah Hadining, and a student who conducted the Final Paper with a similar topic, Dimas Kurniantot Aji.
“The selection of this topic becomes interesting, because it can help some SMEs around our environment, as one alternative recommendations for marketing products based on social media, especially Facebook,” said Atya last week.
Atya explained other reasons that the Facebook is also widely used by people in everyday life, so that it becomes interesting to learn how to post an effective advertising on Facebook.
For her, attended an international conference is one of the way to expand the knowledge and insight, because by following the event they can discover some similar research that have been and are being developed by others. (Purel / Nisa)
