Telkom University Achieved the World Certification on Information Service

BANDUNG, (30/01/2017) – Telkom University proceeded with the academic infrastructure and their academic productivity. Friday (01/27/2017), the University which turns 4 this year achieved the certification of International Standard ISO 20000-1: 2011. The certification has never been achieved by any university in Indonesia related to the management of information systems.

Rector of Telkom University, Mochamad Ashari in a written statement explained that the  ISO management of information technology services (MLTI) have fulfilled the acquisition of Higher Education Institutions Accreditation which was previously been achieved the A accreditation from National Accreditation Board – Higher Education (BAN-PT).

“Those momentum are not come like miracle, there is hard work, also prayers and dedication from all stakeholders. We would like to thank to all those who participated and contributed “he explained.

Quoting from the official website of ISO, the international standards for MLTI is only awarded to organizations or corporations that meet several extra eligibility in information technology services, particularly in the provision, planning to process of management-based information communication technology services.

Furthermore Ashari added, the current system of information on Telkom University still the best. And in fact, this university became one of the initiators of smart card for the purpose of information access and university networks. Then, in the future, Telkom University is not only university which take the benefits of the technology, but the entire university in Indonesia.

In the same statement, the vice rector of information systems, Nelson Rikardo Pasaribu added, Telkom University has commitment in supporting friendly-learning environment through the consolidation of information technology.
