BANDUNG, TEL-U – Another proud achievement of Telkom University (Tel-U). This time it came from lecturer who achieved outstanding lecturers predicate at Coordinator of Private Universities (Kopertis) Level Region IV 2016.
He is Dr Doan Perdana, ST, MT, a lecturer from School of Electrical Engineering (FTE) Tel-U who appointed as representatives of Tel-U in the selection of outstanding lecturers KOPERTIS on 18-19 April 2016 in Kopertis Region IV Education and Training Building, Jl , Jatinangor KM.20 Sumedang.
Outstanding Lecturer’s Election is an annual event conducted by Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti). The aim of this event is to give recognition to the lecturers who perform the activities of Tri Dharma universities with a proud result and very beneficial to the progress of improving the quality of academic and institutional.
According to Doan, a factor which made him achieved the award was the eminent work in the field of research. It was the research collaboration with the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taiwan. “From that research, I produced four Scopus indexed international publications and one patent IPRs since 2015,” he said.
An assessment included the featured works that have been produced for Tridarma Universities especially for scientific publications produced within the last 3 years.
Doan added, the lecturer who want to achieve outstanding lecturers predicate must be prepared eminent works in the fields of research, such as scientific publications both national and international level related to the Tri Dharma College (Education and Teaching, Research and Community Service).
“So the requirements of outstanding lecturer predicate is having a minimum three eminent works related to Tridarma College produced within the last three years,” he said. (Purel / AW)
