BANDUNG, TELKOM UNIVERSITY – Since officially opened in December 2014, the Investments Gallery (GI) of Telkom University, succesfully generate a total transaction of Rp 6 billion per December 2016.This was disclosed by the Division Manager of Analysis and Shares Investment , Iqbal Firdaus, students and GI committee, on Friday, January 27, 2017 in GI office.

GI, which based in the School of Economics and Business is create as learning facility, thus students can immediately practice the theory in the classroom “There is a Financial Management course in Tel-U, with Finance Accounting Study concentration. Well here, GI accommodate students to practice, not just theory, “he said.
To introduce the world of stock investing to students, GI management regularly conduct investment classes and training every week “There is Investment Class in GI. After registered, the students could determine the time from Monday to Friday from 09:00 until 16:00. While Coaching Clinic is held every Saturday or Sunday “Iqbal said.
According to Iqbal, a student from School of Engineering until now dominated the number of active members in GI, its about 70%, while the rest filled by other faculties. “To open an account, students requires to submit photocopy of ID card, photocopy of ID card of parents, and a photocopy of the front page of the passbook with a nominal initial deposit of 100,000″.”We hope that students can be more aware with investment’s world, especially stocks.” He concluded.
