Crowned as First at MEAVIC 2015, Tel-U Students Won Awards from the Ministry of Trade

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Sendy Prayogo, D3 Informatics Students Faculty of Applied Sciences Telkom University (FIT Tel-U) won 1st position at ASEAN Economic Community Video Competition (MEAVIC) 2015, organized by the Ministry of Trade. The competition lasted from September to November 2015 but the award was held in Workspace Minister of Trade Indonesia, Jakarta, Wednesday (13/4).

The competition was attended by high school and vocational students. All participants produced 41 videos then selected to 15 videos. Sendy created the videos animatedly so that easy to understand and has a strong message for audience. As a result, his works captivated all judges namely Joko Anwar, and other MEAVIC judges from ASEAN Cooperation Directorate Ministry of Trade, film practitioners, as well as cultural journalist and film.

“I wish people will recognize what it is ASEAN Economic Community after watch this video, and Indonesia could participate and lead the community to successfully enter the ASEAN Economic Community,” said Sendy, Thursday (14/4).

The video which done in the middle of college assignment brought Sendy won prize and award given by the Minister of Trade, Thomas Lembong. (Purel / AW)
