Bandung, Telkom University – School of Economics and Business (FEB) organized Online Seminar Series # 2 Session 1 on Thursday (6/8) online through the Zoom Meeting application. The activity is routinely carried out by every school at Telkom University to continue to provide positive insights during a pandemic.
The speaker who attended this session was a lecturer and researcher from FEB, namely Dewa Putra Krishna Mahardika, SE., M.Sc., CFA., FRM. The topic discussed in the #series 2 sessions 1 seminar discussed how climate change can disrupt financial system stability and potentially trigger a financial crisis.
With the theme ‘The Green Swam: How to Climate Change Could a Financial Crisis’, Dewa said that the world’s attention is now focused on the Covid-19 pandemic which has paralyzed many business activities and has the potential to reduce global economic growth.
“There is another danger facing the world and this danger is no less impactful. It can be said that this danger is far greater than the Covid-19 pandemic. The danger is climate change, “he said.
