Game Market Analysis in Transmedia Era
Bandung, Telkom University – Telkom University through the Applied of Multimedia Engineering Technology Bachelor study program organized a Public Lecture with the theme ‘Game Market Analysis in Transmedia Era’ by presenting the speaker Cipto Adiguno as Vice President of Consumer Games Agate International.
This activity was held on Friday (20/11) online through the ZOOM Meeting and broadcast live on the YouTube channel of the Telkom University Faculty of Applied Sciences. This activity was opened by Dr. Arfianto Fahmi, S.T., M.T. as Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences Telkom University.
“We have conducted public lectures from this industry during the Odd semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. With the speakers who are industry experts, it is hoped that they will be able to provide the latest knowledge about industrial developments that are outside, “he said.
Dr. Arfianto also said that the theme raised is very suitable for the current pandemic situation because we learn a lot and work from our homes and maybe on the sidelines of busy learning and working activities to fill the gap in time with games. Based on data from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, during this pandemic, the gaming industry increased by about ten percent.
During this pandemic, this market can increase. In line with that, it is very relevant in the Faculty of Applied Sciences of Telkom University which has a Bachelor of Applied Multimedia Engineering Technology study program so that future development can be carried out.
