Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya won the Best University Leaders award at the 2020 Obsessions Awards on Thursday (3/12) online. This event is annually held by the Obsession Media Group and has been going on for 16 years. The 2020 Obsession Award is an award given to figures and companies which dedicated their work of advancing the nation and country hoping to provide motivation and inspiration to the wider community.
At this event, the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Prof. Dr. K. H. Ma’ruf Amin was present as the Keynote Speaker, and officially open this event. In his remarks, he said that the award as a token of appreciation to those who have dedicated their work to the nation and state hoping to provide motivation and inspiration to the wider community. “I express my gratitude and appreciation, which has become a positive tradition since 16 years ago,” said Ma’ruf.
Chancellor of Telkom University Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya expressed his gratitude for the award. “Thank you for the award, this is a mandate for me to always give the best and contribute more to Indonesia. We cannot separate this award from the hard work and smart work of all Telkom University academicians. Hopefully, this award will inspire not only Tel-U academics but also the Indonesian people. Thank you,” said Adiwijaya.
