SMASH.ID Collaborated with Jakarta Smart City

Telkom University –Telkom University, through its start-up product called SMASH.ID has collaborated with the Jakarta Smart City management unit. This collaboration is about monitoring the process of sustainable waste management through the Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application. The signing of the collaboration was carried out by Yudhistira Nugraha as the Head of the Jakarta Smart City Management Unit for the Communication, Informatics and Statistics Office of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government as the first party and Putra Fajar Alam as the Director of PT Solusi Hijau Indonesia (SMASH.ID) and a Lecturer at the Faculty of Industrial Engineering Telkom University as the second party. This signing was carried out on Thursday (12/11).

Putra Fajar Alam explained that the object of this Collective Agreement is the implementation of the Smart Environment pillar which is applied to Jakarta now (JAKI) and the monitoring dashboard service. The scope of this Collective Agreement is the collaboration contained in the Smart Environment pillar specifically in waste collection, waste sorting, and monitoring of waste quotas.

“This collective agreement is a form of promoting a sustainable economy around DKI Jakarta during the Covid-19 pandemic and provides data on potential regional income from waste management. The purpose of this collective agreement is to carry out a waste management process that is sustainable and has economic potential in DKI Jakarta. “

SMASH.ID and the Jakarta Smart City management unit will coordinate with each other in carrying out supervision of the amount of waste in a certain area through a dashboard and will coordinate with each other in carrying out the collection, sorting, and implementation of the program. This Collective Agreement is valid for the next two years.

“This collaboration is a follow-up to the final round of Future City Jakarta. This Hackathon is the first Smart City virtual Hackathon in Indonesia. We hope that this collaboration can have a better impact on the lives of Jakarta residents. “
