BANDUNG, Telkom University – Opening 2021, the Undergraduate Telecommunication Engineering Study Program, School of Electrical Engineering (S1 TT FTE Study Program) succeeded in achieving Superior accreditation based on the decision of the National Higher Education Accreditation Board (BAN-PT) No. 8479 / SK / BAN-PT / AK-ISK / S / XII / 2020.
According to the Head of the Telecommunications Engineering Undergraduate Study Program Dr. Levy Olivia Nur, the accreditation achieved by the Telecommunication Engineering Study Program is the result of the conversion of the study program accreditation ranking.
“Previously we (Study Program S1 TT) have been accredited A from BAN-PT, and following BAN-PT decision no1 of 2020 regarding the accreditation mechanism, we propose to convert accreditation A to Excellence.” She explained
Levy added that the information about the achievement of accreditation for the Undergraduate Telecommunication Engineering Study Program to be superior has been informed since last December 2020, and on Monday (11/1) a Decree was issued as well as a certificate of accreditation for Excellence in Telecommunication Engineering Study Program.
“For us, the Superior accreditation is the highest achievement of conducting a Study Program in Indonesia, which shows the maximum responsibility and quality of work of the entire academic community, thanks to all levels of university leadership, the School of Electrical Engineering, and the academic community for their support so that this accreditation can be achieved, I hope we will get even more eager to provide the best service and continue to maintain this SUPERIOR predicate. ” She said.
As one of the oldest study programs at Telkom University, S1 Telecommunications Engineering has won many achievements and has succeeded in producing the best alumni who contribute to the Indonesian nation.
It should be noted, previously undergraduate Telecommunication Engineering has obtained accreditation A from BAN-PT and by being converted to Excellence, making the Undergraduate Telecommunication Engineering Study Program is the first study program to achieve Excellence accreditation at Telkom University.
The Undergraduate Telecommunication Engineering Study Program has also achieved IABEE (Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education) international accreditation.
