Tel-U and Gunung Jati Swadaya University Establish Cooperation

Bandung, Universtas Telkom – Telkom University Strategic Cooperation Unit has initiated a collaboration contained in a Memorandum of Understanding with Gunung Jati Swadaya University which was signed by Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya, S.Si., M.Si as the Rector of Telkom University and Dr. H. Mukarto Siswoyo, Drs., M.Si as the Rector of Gunung Jati Swadaya University. The signing was held on Monday (19/10) at Telkom University Rectorate Building.

Attended by representatives of both parties, in the signing activity, the Rector of Telkom University was accompanied by Dr. Dadan Rahadian, S.T., M.M as Vice-Rector I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ir. Rina Pudji Astuti, M.T as Deputy Chancellor IV for Research, Innovation, and Cooperation, Lia Yuldinawati, S.T., M.M as Director of Strategic Cooperation and the Office of International Affairs and Soni Fajar Surya Gumilang as Head of the Strategic Cooperation Section. There were also representatives from Gunung Jati Swadaya University, namely H. Nasir Asman, Drs., MM as Deputy Chancellor II, Siti Khumayah, SE., SH., M.Si as Deputy Rector IV, and Ferry Ferdianto, ST, M. Pd as the Head of the Gunung Jati Swadaya University Cooperation Bureau.

The Memorandum of Understanding is cooperation in the field of Higher Education Tri Dharma, which will then be derived into a more specific cooperation agreement in the form of a Memorandum of Agreement and an Implementation Arrangement which will be discussed further by both parties. Not only the signing ceremony, but the two sides also held discussions regarding the potential for cooperation that can be synergized by the two.

Dr. H. Mukarto Siswoyo, Drs., M.Si as the Rector of Gunung Jati Swadaya University stated that “We appreciate Telkom University’s achievements, with some of its innovations and from the evidence of achievements both from the Ministry of Research and Technology and stakeholders or stakeholders”.

The remarks by the Rector of the Gunung Jati Swadaya University were warmly welcomed by the Rector of Telkom University,

“It’s very glad to stay in touch with UGJ colleagues, Inshaallah what we can do in collaboration will benefit the progress of this nation ”.
