Tel-U and AMIKOM Purwokerto Establish Cooperation to Improve HR Competence

BANDUNG, Telkom University – AMIKOM Purwokerto University paid an onsite visit to Telkom University, which took place on Tuesday (08/08). The purpose of this visit agenda is related to signing a memorandum of understanding between AMIKOM Purwokerto and Telkom University related to Tri Dharma, Campus Management, and so on.

Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya, revealed that according to him, collaboration is a step to move forward and go further. He hopes that the benefits of this collaboration will not only be for the two universities but more broadly for this nation.

“The development of higher education in Indonesia is inseparable from the role of academics and stakeholders. So far, much cooperation has been established, but the MoU should not fall asleep casually. The benefits of cooperation need to be felt by the wider community since this MoU was made. The university not only produces graduates but also the results of research and innovation must be developed properly,” said Adiwijaya.

At this meeting of the two universities, the discussion focused on how both parties could develop competitive human resource competencies. Tel-U and AMIKOM also agreed that even the Merdeka Learn Campus Merdeka program is a forum for students. Hence, increasing student competence through the program is the best investment for the campus.

Rector of AMIKOM Purwokerto, Dr. Berlilana, M. KomM.Sc.hopes to duplicate the good things in Tel-U. So that AMIKOM can transform into a large campus in the future.

“Thank you for the opportunity given. We hope that what is in Tel-U can be duplicated for mutual progress. This collaboration is our first step from a small university to a large campus. In our opinion, the biggest investment in the campus is its human resources. Hopefully, today we can exchange knowledge.” Berlilana said.
