Tel-U Delivers 8 Innovation Products to Bandung Regency

Tel U Serahkan 8 Produk Inovasi

BANDUNG, Telkom University – The community can again feel the benefits of the work of Telkom University lecturers. People of Sukapura Village, Dayeuhkolot District, Bandung Regency received eight Telkom University innovation products, which took place at the Telkom University Landmark Tower Building, Tuesday (4/1).

These eight products are the work of lecturers at the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at Telkom University, in the form of Automatic Potato Slicing Machines, Deep Frying Machines, Fillet Machines, Crusher Machines, Washing Machines for Shredded Plastics, Plastic Melting Machines, Smart Drop Boxes, and Website and Android-Based Village Data Banks.

The handover was witnessed directly by the Regent of Bandung Regency, Dadang Supriatna, and the Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya.

Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Adiwijaya, said that Community Service activities transfer technology, science, and art to the community. Those are to answer the needs, challenges, or problems faced by the community, either directly or indirectly, as our real contribution as the academic community to the Indonesian nation, especially in developing the welfare and progress of the Indonesian nation.

“As a form of our contribution to the nation, Telkom University is here to continue to provide benefits to the community. With the innovative products from Telkom University, we hope that it will not only help grow the economy in Bandung Regency but also be able to make HR in Bandung Regency better in the future,” he said.

The Regent of Bandung Regency, Dadang Supriatna, appreciates what Telkom University has done for the people of Bandung Regency. According to him, the collaboration between academics and the government is perfect for jointly growing the nation’s economy.

“We hope that the steps taken by Tel-U can be an example for other universities to be able to help the surrounding villages so that they can help develop all regions in Indonesia.”
