Tel-U, The Honorable Campus in Indonesia to be included in THE Young University Rankings 2021

BANDUNG, Telkom University – The world campus ranking agency, Times Higher Education (THE) has re-released the list of THE Young University Rankings 2021 based on the university age range of less than or 50 years.

Through the www.timeshighereducation.com page, the list of THE Young University Rankings 2021 includes the world’s best universities founded between 1971 and 2021, and this year includes 475 universities from around the world.

Of the 475 world universities from 68 countries, Telkom University is the only university in Indonesia that is included in the list of THE Young University Ranking 2021, where Tel-U managed to rank 401+.

The ranking of THE Young University Rankings 2021 is based on several indicators, including; teaching (learning), research (research), citations (citations); international outlook (international view), as well as industry income.

In these assessment indicators, Telkom University managed to achieve a teaching score of 17.1, research 12.6, citations 22.2, international outlook 15.5, and industry income 33.8.

Established on August 14, 2013, Telkom University has also succeeded in being ranked 1001+ in the world in THE World University Ranking, Tel-U being the only private university that entered the top 9 alongside the best universities in Indonesia, all of which are State Universities (PTN). Telkom University also won the title of the best private university in Indonesia for two consecutive years, in 2019 and 2020.

Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Adiwijaya expressed his pride and gratitude to the entire academic community of Telkom University who never stopped bringing the good name of Telkom University not only in Indonesia but in the world.

“This time as the only campus in Indonesia that is included in the world rankings, it is an honor for us (Tel-U) to be able to carry the name of the Indonesian state in the world, and to be able to contribute to the nation.” Obviously.

Prof. Adiwijaya added that Tel-U’s commitment is to continue to contribute to the nation and to continue to produce superior human resources for the progress of the Indonesian nation in the future.
