Telkom University and CNN Indonesia Participate in Developing Village Innovations
BANDUNG, Telkom University – The development is increasing rapidly, everything is completely digital, and it’s assigned E-Commerce as the main entrance for local product development. Economic strength can be sustained by product development to touch rural areas.
Telkom University together with CNN Indonesia and the Ministry of the village held a seminar titled “E-commerce bbecomes a Key Element in Creating Village Innovation”. The seminar, held at the Damar building, Monday (30/9), aims to provide insight to Telkom University students to take advantage of the digital platform.
Through this seminar event, Prof. Adiwijaya expected that Telkom University continue contribute to the Indonesian people to realize village innovation. “Following our motto, synergy to build the country, Telkom University will continue to contribute to the Indonesian nation in terms of realizing village innovation.” He said.
The seminar presented speakers from the village ministry and practitioners engaged in digitalpreneur, namely Dr. Ivanovich Agusta (Head of data and information center of the Ministry of Villages) and CEO and Co-Founder of Kecipir Tantyo Bangun.
On his presentation entitled “E-commerce becomes a Key Element for Developing Village Innovation,” Ivanovich said that the outstanding product of rural areas as an effort to develop cooperation between villages has included an investment of more than 47 trillion in a year. And that is already using e-commerce, he said.
Besides the seminar, it was also enlivened by the Journalist Session where Rully Kurniawan as a correspondent of CNN Indonesia, Finanda Rachmaulida, Field Producer of CNN Indonesia and Gregorius Bayu Photo Journalist of CNN Indonesia. They shared their experiences with the participants about the world of journalists. The event was closed by the appearance of Telkom University Cover Song champions Nadhira, Khanaya, and Narita.
