Telkom University Internal Audit Officially Closed

BANDUNG, Telkom University – The process of implementing the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) II which lasted for 1 week from 1-11 December 2020, has been completed. AMI that is run by Telkom University is based on 3 ISO standards, namely ISO 20000-1: 2018, 27001: 2013, and ISO 21001: 2018.

It should be noted that ISO 20000-1: 2018 is a requirement for organizations to establish, implement, maintain and continue to improve a service management system (SMS), and ISO 27001: 2013 is an international standard in implementing an information security management system or also commonly known as Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). And ISO 21001: 2018, is an educational organization management system adapted from ISO 9001: 2015. This standard is specially prepared for the education sector

At the closing meeting of AMI II which took place online, Monday (14/12), the Head of Telkom University’s Internal Audit Unit (SAI), Roswan Latuconsina said that the results of AMI II which have been implemented have been quite good where it meets the ISO 20000 standard. 1: 2018 achieved a percentage of 87.84%, ISO 21001: 2018 95.06% and ISO 27001: 2013 66.30%.

“Through AMI II, we can jointly prepare to achieve a new ISO certification in the future, so that the results seen from AMI II let us improve together and continue to improve the quality of education at Telkom University.

According to Telkom University Vice-Rector I Academic Affairs, Dr. Dadan Rahadian, that the audit process that lasted for the past week has been running smoothly and received satisfactory results, and the results of this audit are not a deficiency of each directorate or faculty but an opportunity to continue to improve and improve the quality of education forward.

“This audit is not a ranking but to improve the quality of education at Telkom University because Tel-U’s commitment is to continue to provide the best quality education for the Indonesian nation, thanks to all auditors and auditees who have carried out this activity, hopefully, this will be a new improvement and make Telkom University even better. ” He explained.
