FIK Gallery Shows 50 Student Work from Four Countries

BANDUNG, TEL-U – A total of 50 works of students from four Asian countries exhibited at the Art Gallery Faculty of Creative Industries (FIK) Telkom University (Tel-U), Tuesday (25/8), at the cast of Asian Student Package Design Competition (ASPAC).

“The work of product design on display is the work of students from Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and Thailand. Of the 50 works on display, 18 of which received an award at ASPAC 2014 event, “said Isma Savitri, the Cultural Section of the Japan Foundation representative.

She added, according to last year’s competition theme ‘Pioneer’, these works present the new ideas that the public is able to open up horizons of everyday product packaging. The award has been obtained from the competition among them the Grand Prize, Excellent Award, Lotte Award, Asia Award, JPDA Award, Special Award, Kokuyo Award, DNP Award and Honorable Award.

“Indonesia ASPAC exhibition this time is a series of roving exhibitions. Before the Faculty of Creative Industries Telkom University, the exhibition has been held in Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul. The next exhibition will take place in Thailand, “he said. (purel / risca)
