Tel-U and SMI Synergize to Improve the Quality of Education in Indonesia
BANDUNG, Telkom University –Telkom University (Tel-U) with PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) (PT SMI) agreed to develop the education in Indonesia on the SDG Indonesia One platform, as stated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on Friday (12/7) at Telkom University’s 5th Floor Bangkit Building.
The MoU was signed by the Rector of Telkom University Prof. Adiwijaya and Director of PT SMI Faaris Pranawa. PT SMI is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) company engaged in infrastructure financing, which is owned by the Republic of Indonesia through the Ministry of Finance.
Faaris said that this collaboration was a step for the industry and the government to focus on developing the education sector in Indonesia by cooperating with Telkom University.
“We will work together with academics to educate Indonesia’s society. Hopefully, this collaboration will not only be contained in the MoU, but it can continue to be implemented,” he said.
The Rector of Telkom University Prof. Adiwijaya welcomed this collaboration, it is not only the campus has the duty to develop education in Indonesia, but also all parties.
“Hopefully, from this collaboration, we can contribute to the development of Indonesia in the future, and hopefully the benefits of this collaboration is beneficial for this country.” He explained.
