29 Tel U Gelar Sosialisasi Penelitian Rispro

BANDUNG, Telkom University – To improve the quality of research, Telkom University through the Directorate of Research and Community Service in collaboration with the Institute of Education Fund Management (LPDP) organized a socialization program on the Selection of RISPRO LPDP Research Proposals in 2020.

This event took place in the Multimedia Room Bangkit Building Lantai 2 Telkom University, Wednesday (29/1). In this event, a speaker, Prof. Anny Sulaswatty as a representative from LPDP RISPRO reviewer and LIPI Research Professor. The participants are members and Chairperson of Telkom University Expertise Group.

Prof. Anny said that Telkom University as a private institution that currently occupies an independent cluster has greatly benefited from the funding process through the LPDP research proposal.

“Currently there are 3 types of RISPRO, namely RISPRO Competition, RISPRO Invitation, and RISPRO International, RISPRO Competition has funding reaching 6 billion for 3 years while for RISPRO Invitation which is proposed for universities that occupy independent clusters have funding of more than 6 billion or even not restricted. ” She said.

For this year (2020) Prof. Anny added that the theme to be raised for the investment project was making Indonesia 4.0, and that included 5 sectors including food & beverages, clothing (textiles), automotive, chemical and electronics.

“Since 2016 until today, as far as I know, there are only 2 researchers at Telkom University whose proposals were accepted. There are Dr. Khoirul Anwar and Dr. Maman Abdurohman, I hope that Tel-U as an ICT-focused university this year can take advantage of the RISPRO invitation theme, Making Indonesia 4.0. ” She said.

Vice-Rector for Telkom University Research Dr. Rina Pudji Astuti said in her remarks that this activity had to be maximized well by researchers at Telkom University, to continue to improve the quality of research in Indonesia.

“We hope that through this activity we can welcome another Tel-U researcher following 2 previous researchers and also motivate other researchers.” She said.
