The student who is familiarly called Tania said that she and the team had a little difficulty discussing the topic of the debate on Economics and Marine Affairs. “Before the competition, I read a lot of material about Marine because my knowledge and the team’s could be said to be zero. But due to hard work and assistance from the Search Debate Society (SDS) we can be more competitive, “she explained.
Entering the final round (Big Three), Tania competed against the host of the event organizer, which were two teams from UNPAD. Tania admitted that the knowledge of UNPAD students was very broad in this field. But it did not discourage Telkom University team, they were able to prove it by winning the first prize trophy.
“The team and I got a lot of support from the faculty (FRI), because they routinely held seminars and awards for outstanding students. I want to prove that Telkom University is not inferior to state universities. We can even understand things that we have never learned at all, as long as there is a willingness to learn persistently, “closed Tania.
