The 3rd International Conference on Signals and Systems 2019

BANDUNG, Telkom University – School of Electrical Engineering, Telkom University (FTE Tel-U) conduct an international conference entitled The 3rd International Conference on Signals and Systems 2019 (ICSigSys 2019) in collaboration with the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS), Indonesia Chapter and technical co-sponsored by IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) Indonesia Chapter at El Royale Hotel Bandung, July 16-18, 2019.

The International Conference has been routinely held by FTE since 2017, in 2019 ICSigSys 2019 has received 74 papers by 117 authors from 6 countries starting from Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, England, South Korea, and India.

In this conference, there are also 2 Keynote Speakers including Dr. Sundeep Prabhakar Chepuri (Assistant Professor at the Department of ECE at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India.), and Tom J Moir (Associate Professor at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) New Zealand). ICSigSys 2019 Chairman Dr. Fiky Suratman said that of the 74 submitted papers, 34 papers were presented in this conference.

“The results of the papers will be published in the ICSigSys 2019 Conference Proceedings and the papers presented will be submitted to IEEE Xplore after each paper has been thoroughly reviewed,” he said.

Fiky explained that this conference was held on the basis of SPS Indonesia Chapter, to introduce SPS widely, also because there was no conference on Signals and Systems in Indonesia.

“The consideration is many people working in the world of Signal and Systems so it is expected that the conference can accommodate it.” He explained.

The conference was opened by Vice-Rector 4 (Student and Research) Dr. Rina Pudji Astuti expressed her gratitude to the researchers who submitted their paper, hopefully, through this conference, we can produce useful work for this country.

“We hope that the collaboration established through this conference can bring forth ideas to develop better Indonesia in the future.”
