240 Papers Presented at ICSEBS 2016

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Telkom University (Tel-U) organized the International Conference on Science, Engineering, Built Environment, and Social Science (ICSEBS) 2016 which is held on 29-30 November 2016, at the School of Applied Sciences (FIT), Selaru Building Tel-U. Approximate 240 papers were presented. The papers have been selected from 327 papers which is submitted into the committee.

ICSEBS 2016 is the third after two similar event which is successfully held in the last two years. Entitled “Green Technology, Culture and Humanity”, ICSEBS 2016 aimed to gather experts both from academician practitioners and researchers in order intertwining forms of collaboration and harmonization.

Chairman of ICSEBS 2016 Hariandi Mawlid, ST, MSc, said that the theme can be interpreted that how green technology a technology can be environmentally friendly, while culture presented the keynote speech related to social science. As humanity referring to the perpetrators of culture, how culture can be more civilized.

“The theme of the conference is also scope is wide enough not only about technology but there are green science, green engineering, green Built Environment, and Social Science green,” said Maulid.

In ICSEBS 2016 present six keynote speaker, namely Prof Dr Hj Khairul Aidil Azlin Abd Rahman from University Putra Malaysia (UPM), Dr Muhammad Mujab, MTh of the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang (UIN), Dr Putu Harry Gunawan , SSi, MSi, MSc from School of Informatics Tel-U, Prof Dr Syamsul Arifin, MAg of Muhammadiah University of Malang (UMM), and Prof Dr Yusnani from the University of Brunei Darussalam and Prof. Tajuddin of UCSI University Malaysia.

“The selected papers will cover into the Journal of Science & Technology (JST), Journal of Social Sciences & Humanities (JSSH), and Journal of Tropical Agricultural Science (JTAS) which is indexed Scopus, and there are several other journals are indexed DOI or DOAJ, “he said.

Vice Rector Dr M Yahya Arwiyah IV, SH, MH in his speech expected that this conference can strengthen the collaboration that exists between Tel-U with all those who have contributed to this event. (PR / AW)
