Telkom University participated in enlivening the competition event entitled “Gebyar: Sports, Art Creation, and Social Service,” organized by the Regional IV Higher Education Service Institution (LLDIKTI), which took place from 7 July – 12 August 2022 in commemorating the 77th Indonesian Independence Day and the anniversary of the Indonesian Independence Day. The fourth year of LLDIKTI.
On Friday (15/7), the Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya, inaugurated the release of the Telkom University Contingent, consisting of 20 lecturers and TPA, as well as 127 students who will compete in the 11 available competitions. The Rector hopes that athletes are allowed to give their best effort.
“We believe that our colleagues who compete to represent Tel-U are the best individuals in their fields. This competition also contributes to fostering a better competitive spirit. Every game there will be disappointments, but it is enough for us to accept those disappointments and use them as an impetus for us to bounce back.” said the Chancellor.
Of the 11 branches, Telkom University became the jury in two competitions, namely the Batik Painting Competition by Ahda Sekar from the Faculty of Creative Industries and the LLDIKTI4 Website Creation Competition by Alfian Akbar Ghozali from the Directorate of Information Technology Center / Faculty of Applied Sciences.
“This is an honor for Tel-U, two of our lecturers were chosen to be judges in two competitions. This proves that the competence of Tel-U lecturers is the best in their field. I wish all the athletes a good match, I wish you all the best.”
